Billy the Kid living in cave near Bear Lodge mountains. Cattlemen who have lately come in from Foster's range, at the west end of the Bear Lodge mountains, says that Higgins, Hill, Axelbee, Billy the Kid, and the balance of the outlaws, some of whom are wounded, are living there in a cave. One of them is so badly wounded that he had to be hauled to his present quarters on a sled drawn by hand. For food they kill stock, and are supposed to be living on beef straight. If they are wanted right bad by the officers, they might be found, as the cattle owners would show them the cave.
